The Merchant’s Tavern welcomes you right at the entrance to Santa Maria Maggiore, with its own large, convenient parking lot and the availability of a large indoor room and outdoor spaces where you can enjoy the view of our Valley.

Osteria del Mercante is located at the entrance to Santa Maria Maggiore, coming from Domodossola.

In Covered Veranda and just beyond with Umbrellas, our Guests can enjoy a pleasant day.

At our Villa Mercante Estate we produce our own Wine and Grappa. We gained recognition for our efforts with the award for our Prüment as a product among the best 100 Wines of Italy. An Excellence in a Country of Excellence.

Pasta alla Vigezzina was a very pleasant surprise. It had a delicate, unique flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed.
We're a group of friends who ride motorcycles. After a trip through the valleys, it's become a tradition for us to stop by our friend Luca's place.
Comfortable, very pleasant. Excellent food, and the staff was helpful and courteous. Generous portions and well-prepared dishes. We were satisfied.
